A raw and unfiltered look at what it means to live with kidney disease—beyond the diagnoses, beyond the machines, beyond what people see. This series explores the quiet battles, the waiting, the uncertainty, and the strength it takes to keep going when life is constantly interrupted.

It’s not just about illness. It’s about identity, resilience, and learning how to exist in a body that doesn’t always cooperate. It’s about the moments in between—the ones filled with fear, hope, exhaustion, and gratitude.

A companion to This is Kidney Disease… This is Life., this series highlights the other side of the story—the people who choose to give.

Through real experiences, Living Kidney Donor Stories shares the motivations, fears, and life-changing decisions behind living donation. It brings forward voices of compassion, sacrifice, and connection, showing what it means to step in and change someone else’s life forever.

These are not just stories of donation.
They are stories of humanity, of courage, and of choosing to be the reason someone gets a second chance.
